Hi! I'm Lara, a wildlife photographer from the West Midlands, UK.
I've loved animals and photography for as long as I can remember. I particularly enjoy photographing birds and mammals in their natural environments, but honestly, I'm just happy being outdoors with my camera and seeing what I can find!
One of my favourite things about wildlife photography is never knowing what you might come across. Some of my favourite encounters have happened close to home, and I love showing that you don't have to travel far to see amazing wildlife. Sometimes it's right on your doorstep!
Most of my photography focuses on British wildlife, alongside photographs from my travels, including South Africa.
Outside of photography, my love for animals led me to complete a degree in Zoo Animal Management and Conservation, graduating with First Class Honours in 2026.
I was also lucky enough to win the UNiDAYS Student Photographer of the Year Scroll Stopper Award in 2026, with a photograph of Bruce, a much-loved red deer stag from Chasewater.
Through my photos, I hope to share my love for wildlife and encourage others to get outdoors and appreciate the amazing animals we have around us.
